Welcome to Byzantine Composer! This tool allows you to learn, write, play and export Byzantine Music. It shows you the basic byzantine symbols, teaches you about byzantine modes and compares the byzantine score with the european. Byzantine music basically uses a "relative to previous" input method, in which you start from a known base and you go up or down, depending on the next symbol. There are 3 modes (the enharmonic, which is like the Major european scale, the diatonic and the chromatic). By no means this is a complete representation of the Byzantine Music! You should listen to your teacher to fully understand all the elements described. At this release, this tool includes: - Straight moving symbols. - Basic timing symbols - Basic modes and "pthores" symbols - Basic decoration symbols
